A day in the life of Larva is the 52th episode of Larva in New York (Season 3).

Plot[]

The episode shows different POVs from Red and Yellow’s:

For Red: Red wakes up, stretches himself and watches the sunrise. He then goes take a bath, looks at the mirror and makes himself looks good. After that, he goes find food and while never found anything. A piece of strawberry lands on him, he happily hides and enjoys the strawberry's taste. But then, the silver twins have found him and chases him for the whole day. They eventually catches him and fights each other to eat him. After the whole day, Red tiredly comes back to bed, seeing Yellow’s happy smile, he smiles a bit. Finally, he ends the day by sleeping but can't help crying for his tragic life.
For Yellow: Yellow was still sleeping while Red wakes up. He then falls out of the bed, farts, and still sleeps anyway. He wakes up, hit a trash can and a slice of cake fall on him. He instantly eats it and throw the piece of strawberry on top of it away. After filling his stomach, he continues sleeping for the whole day, he eventually falls when the Silvers goes through him. After the whole episode, all he does is sleeping…

In the end, Yellow wakes up. Sees Red shaking in cold, he decides to give him the leaf(blanket), smiles. Then sleeps again.

Red gets bruises from trying break free from being eaten by the silver twins.

Compare this episode to Lala island, Red completely changed and have a happy life. This show how much Mango changed her life in such a positive way.
The gag of red always having the bad luck while yellow having good lucks is heavily putted in this episode.
This is a call-back to once upon a time (from season 2) for its own epilogue.
In a spin off based of the episode, from the 라바두비라바 channel. when red was chased by the silver twins and got captured, there's words with green highlight saying 비둘기와 오붓한 시간(?) 되세요~! translated to “having a good time”(?) with the pigeons~ (the highlight specifically on pigeons and good time wordings. is it any related to the actual character: green? who knows).
