Big Brown is an old turtle, and a recurring character from Larva Family (Season 5).
He is a quack that pretends to be all wise, but not really. he also has this weird habit to consume his urine and offering it to someone else (Red is the first victim, the others is two of the frog packs).
Appearance[]
He's an elderly, greyish indigo turtle, with a single strand of white beard, several other strands of white hairs on his head along some spots, blue eyes, a pig shaped nose, and has a big forehead (like megamind). His top shell and some part of his skin is arsenic (or can be said dark grey), and his under part of the shell along other part of his skin is light tan. He is often out of his shell.
Personality[]
He is a quack, he pretends to be all wise, even in the truth, he is very very childish and naive. either than that and his weird habit of drinking his own urine he is very helpful and willing to help those in need.
Relationship[]
Red & Yellow[]
For Red, as being one of his first pee-drinking victim, Red is super disgusted after he knows all of that time what he's been drinking. but other than that, Big Brown helps him and Yellow to train so they can handle to babysit Magenta.
Magenta[]
A very fussy baby larva, he helped her dads to babysit him. And in the Christmas Special, he becomes her red-nosed reindeer while she delivers gifts to other greenhouse residents.
Mony, Momo and Mocha[]
They respect him as much they respected the granny bees.
Granny Bees[]
They are seen hanging out a lot either partying or just chit-chat. Thus, even when they are in zombified state, Big Brown still can treat them as if they were never brainwashed.
Mauve[]
Never seen that much interaction unless in Larva Rangers where they are the seniors rangers.
Tan[]
He treats him just like Magenta, he also stops him from destroying Magenta's cocoon and tell him that Magenta will be "alright".
Grizzly[]
He did tried to steal his pearl along with Momo and the reaction was pretty bad, but he still treats him as a friendly neighbour in later episodes.
Grey[]
Same fact while repeating from other Larva Family characters, they truced. (???)
Frog packs[]
Two of the frogs join his yoga session (including the infamous one where they drink his pee drink.).
Wasps[]
They cut his precious hair strands, he throws hands on them.
Abilities[]
- Flexibility and speed because of his yoga trainings.
Trivia[]
- As in Wild Life and Training, he was shown peeing. Which makes a gross joke to the franchise.
- One looks at him is enough to understand that he is a big reference to Oogway from the Kung fu Panda franchise, since in the trailer, he teaches Yellow and Red to do kung fu.
- His Head shape just made a reference to Megamind.
- He is also a Kind of a reference to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise too, since Red and Yellow seems are using "turtle shells" or anything alike in their back in the trailer, so instead, he a Kind of combination splinter/oogway.
- If counted, then he is like the 4th elderly characters in the whole show's franchise (outside comics), the first is Wu from season 1 (kind of Red's time paradox/other selves/multiverse?), second being the Female elder from the second season's house (which also appeared again in Larva Island: The Movie), and the third was that old mudskipper elder that teaches volleyball in Larva Island (there's several elder characters in comic spin off too, one of it was a tanuki and a shrimp). Other official characters aged up didn't count in this category (because it’s just a time-skip of themselves not an actual long time appearance).
- Funny Reference: Brown who likes to consume dung, while Big Brown likes to consume his urine. same personality too honestly just different species and age.
- He's not brown, but rather blue, so his name really is a "reference" of Brown and not a color.
- In Magic Clock, When the magic watch's beam hit him, he became young, and his muscular body was basically Rainbow's one but with Big Brown's color.
