Brown is a recurring character from the Larva franchise. He first appeared in Psychic, But he formerly has a prototype design, as a cockroach. Later in Typhoon, he now has a redesign.
During the series, he is seen cuddling, eating, and shows other amorous techniques towards his dung often while Red and Yellow tries to take his food away.
Appearance[]
Brown shows to have an unattractive appearance. He is a brownish-red dung beetle. Brown has two yellowish-orange antennas. He has three dark red strands of hair. He has droopy eyelids. The upper lid is light-rose and the lower lid is dark reddish-brown. He has small iris which is the color of light brown. Brown has small nostrils. He has a dark brown mole with a hair on it located on the right side of his cheek. He has tan spots all over his upper lip. Brown has large gray thick lips. Brown has a rounded shape body. For the front, the top part of his abdomen is a brown hue and the bottom is gray. His arms are a mixture of black, red, and brown color with pointy spikes and claws. His legs are also black and brown. Plus, he has claws on his feet.
However in Psychic, his prototype design was more like a cockroach. With curly antennas, slightly darker face, small eyes, big mouth, and lacks out the hair stains and the mole.
Personality[]
Brown is a dung beetle, so he likes dung things and his most important thing is the dung ball, he has a naive personality like Yellow is, he's usually a romantic character, He's romantically involved with Red and Yellow, married Pink, he had children and if someone hurts him or tries to steal the dung ball, he get angry and either attack or chase him or scold him. and he hates water because he turned into gold, but has a special bath for Golden Brown’s epilogue.
Relationship[]
Yellow[]
Him and Yellow are friends. But occasionally there is conflict. Because together with Red, they accidentally damage his dung. And they fight over food with other bugs.
Red[]
Unlike Yellow, him and Red are friends. But occasionally there is conflict. Because together with Yellow, they accidentally damage his dung. And they fight over food with other bugs.
Pink[]
Him and Pink were friends at first but after Yellow and Red disappeared at the end of Season 3 and the start of Season 4, they got married and had children but regretted it when they saw Yellow.
They are best friends with Black, and they are just like Yellow and Red. But occasionally there is conflict. Because they fight over food with other bugs.
Rainbow[]
Him and Rainbow are friends. But occasionally there is conflict. Because they fight over food with other bugs.
Violet[]
Him and Violet have a friend relationship.
Blue[]
Him and Blue are friends. But occasionally, there is conflict. Because he stinks just like him, and in Balance, the nasty thing on the board ripped his nose and made it harder and he didn't help Him, Yellow, Red, and Black while they were lots of eating Navys, and he ran away.
Trivia[]
- This is the only character that made a debut with an earlier design that got eventually changed.
- In Larva Island: The Movie, he is the first character appearing in the start of the movie (if you don't count random New Yorkers), and was nearly stomped by Chuck, who noticed the beetle and smiled at him, but Brown was scared and just ran away in a sewer.
- He was the closest character to Red and Yellow during season 1 to 3, even if they argued at time over food or just teasing each other, ha was good friends with the main characters. But when Red and Yellow left New York and moved to an island, he had babies with Pink during that time, the reason isn't said, but Brown looked very sad and shocked when he saw Yellow was there in Lala Island, instead of being angry or jealous, meaning he didn't want to be mean, and may have thought Yellow was dead, alongside Red.
- He seems to have been mistaken for a cockroach by many fans, and in Larva In China, the cockroach brothers actually look like him.
- Plus if you count his prototype design from Psychic.
- He is even more gross in Larva In China, as we can clearly see him pooping live and then throw it all on Grey...
- His dung can be useful at times... He even succeeded to make Tom slipping on it when the man tried to kill the Larvae and friends.
- Unlike Pink, he did not disappear after 6 years. You can see him in the start of Larva Island: The Movie and his model was also used in some Larva animations, such as this: [1].
