Grey is the main villain and the predator in most episodes of the third season from the Larva franchise. He appears in Season 3, debuting on Hiccup, and might be designed as Yellow and Red's arch nemesis. (the whole larva rangers on going)

Looks[]

Gray is a rat with a long pink tail. He has a small pink nose, two pink ears and a sharp teeth. He also has black whiskers, pink hands and pink feet. In one of his ear its seems like it got scratched.

Personality[]

As one of the main antagonists in Season 3, he can be seen as cunning, sly, full of tricks because whenever in an episode or even in epilogues he is showed up he will do stuff like playing soccer, do breakdance, etc. Also in whole larva rangers arch he is shown to be genius because he is the villain gang leader, he also the one who had the idea to create the robot that later on shown up on larva island episode. He also seems to be short-tempered, very easy to get annoyed/mad. But on episode Life of a Rat, its shown that the reason why Grey, Green and The Silver Brothers are like that because they need to eat to survive (make sense because, they are literally the predators for larva's), on some occasion like in episode As time goes by, Straw, and Bobsled he actually can team up with Yellow and Red, like he actually can be good beside all the survival thing that is going on. To top it off, in one of the Larva Rangers song series in Larva Kids, it turns out Grey, Green, and the silver brothers are destroying some stuff because they need attention.

In the alternate universe, Larva Romance was depicted that he is a school bully, and also has good sense of fashion just like a typical delinquent kids he just want anything he wants to do. Claiming himself as the boss of his gang (no, green was absent, and cannot be seen near him and the twins). In another spin off from the episode called My little telivision parody (마리텔 패러디) he is always shown as the old teacher who always carries ruler around and pretty strict to the student cast.

His early concept arts showed him to be a cunning thief kind of stereotypes that has short temper along having a scar under his eyes drawn by Seung-Hun, Kim along Byoung-Wook, Ahn also a more rat like body which is slender with longer snout also mostly drawn by Tae-Wook Koh, Min-Seong Kang, along Mi-Seon, An. But later on as the season itself proggressed he along the other predators (Green and the silver twins) turns silly and more jester like with his more rounder and chubbier, shorter snout (bear like) drawings from Jee-Hyun Kim, Ji-Yeon Kim (also the artists mentioned above sometimes draw him in round style too). He also shown to be very emotional too (easyly cry, blush, annoyed or angry) some of his sketches often shown him blushing. If the concept art Green often seen with his crazy eyes, for Grey, this is his veins whenever he got angry and his sharp teeth.

Trivia[]

  • Grey is one of the villains that mostly appears, after Green.
  • Although he appears as often as green is he doesnt appear in the Larva Jeju themepark alongside the silver brothers.
  • Grey's tail is sometimes short sometimes long.
  • Grey has unnamed children and wife on Life of a Rat's epilogue, but this is still never confirmed… (could be that one gag like brown in Lala Island in Larva Island where he is married and has kids.)
  • Although he is as big as Navy, but he scared of him but not Booby? (ikr weird)
  • In Larva NFT, his fusion with green and the silver brothers get called a lot as the chimera, the NFT team make it as their fusion's official name (but still not canon on TubaN part i guess).
  • In season 5, he is no longer fusionend with his gang, even green is absent entirely (do they fight each other? idk). he act as sole leader now, so it means no more togetherness (even in the larva romance web comic). Might because the new team, and our beloved villain gang is no longer under the usual old larva crew works. The new team may "reset factory" them with a new personality/return the root from their concept selfs, rather than usual silly villains we know them for. (That old larva team moved and created an new animation studio called Million Volt, from Larva Family and Larva in Mars, there's hardly old crew participated making it, all new teams)
  • He kind of truce in the end of larva rangers episode in larva family (he might backstab them though who knows)
  • In the animatic/concept storyboard of the season 3 episodes, he was supposed to be as brown as Jerry from Tom and Jerry. is this changes after he got burnt now, he's all grey, he also has a scar under his right eye.
  • His My little television parody self form might be referencing Baldi from Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning, that game. (he will always shown carrying a ruler around with him)
  • His other self might or might not be Diego, the bully from Hero Inside (that old larva crew new show they worked in), because his spoiled rich kid self and always followed by the two certain bodyguards (the silver twins) as also in Larva Romance gives it away.
  • In the Korea term, a mouse depicted as a sly and a character that kept tackling hard obstacles. Making how grey as he is today, a jack-of-all trade yet master of nothing yet. [1]
  • Now if Chameli from Hero Inside might hinting it was green, Mag B might hint, it was grey. the gang almost complete to reunite again in the new show, with the same old creators.
  • He is teased in the official Shenzhen news, but they haven't really teamed up to go after yellow and red yet. In fact that grey is more softer now with the bugs, occasionally hangs and play with them (secretly planning to eat them), in the china series. He even cry when the two larvae gives him puppy eyes, like in this episode where they does this.
  • He might be a Tsundere, as his counterpart from Bread Barbershop (the show producer[2] ever worked in larva), Potato Chip is. Also hinting why he always returns whenever there is rangers arc because he actually cared about yellow and red somehow beside the obvious rivalry, and how he disband with green and the silver twins (now we might also know who created the yellow-terminator too).
