Ping-Pong is the 16th episode of Season 2, and the 15th episode of Larva Family. (Season 5)

Plot[]

Season 2[]

Yellow, red, black, brown, and rainbow were watching TV, that tom watched about ping-pong competition. Overhyped yellow accidentally slapped red, as he slap him back while mad at him. Then after that, yellow finds a match box alongside the tiny toy gun Amos that also can bounce like a ping-pong, as the others came and they decided to do their own ping-pong match. First round is red vs rainbow, red did the first move, but then rainbow used his slow motion power to slowed the ball down that it takes whole day for it to cross to red’s area, as everyone is asleep. Yellow wakes red up, as he easily slap it and winning the match. Next is Black vs Brown, brown does the first attack, but then black spins and giving a dash to the ball as it pushed brown all the way to his dung making him the winner, but then brown gets so angry that he make a racket out of his dung as he charges towards black, but turns out to hit him not for a rematch. This leaves only for yellow vs red, this time, brown is the judge (with a bump on his head, because black beaten him up). Yellow does the first move, but turns out his snot is secretly stuck at the ball as he mess red around, pretending shooting the ball at him, then red focused and finally saw the real ball as he hit it, the ball bounces back as he jumps and do a hit combo making the ball also create another illusion to yellow while shooting at full speed. Yellow tries to block the real ball as it almost make him lose, but then he grab it as he rewind the ball back to red only to cause a tornado that mess the whole room. At the end, the ball fell to red’s side, as brown declaring yellow’s tongue as he win.

Epilogue[]

Red and yellow plays another match, with red kept shooting the ball at him, so yellow created a bigger rackets using his fart and slammed him down.

Season 5[]

It started like a normal day. Red, Yellow and Magenta are finding food. While Red and Yellow are searching, Magenta starts chewing the orange ball. She spit it out and it super bouncy. Red uses the bottle cap to hit it out, Yellow saw it and he also hit it back and they start do it over and over again (playing ping pong). Magenta calls them but they don't mind and continue playing. She was sad and left, while Red and Yellow are still playing in excitement. They start to addicted to it and play day by day.

Everyone also starts to become excited about this game and they gathered around to see Red and Yellow playing. Magenta who just woke up try to get Red and Yellow's attention but they don't mind her. Red and Yellow started to feel tired and hungry, after they saw Tan holding a berry. They make him play the game, which the winner will have the berry. Without any chance, Tan instantly lost the game and got bullied by Red. Yellow took the food and ate it.

Magenta played with Tan in a team. Knowing that Tan is scared, Red and Yellow arrogantly hit the ball to him. Tan scarily dodged it. Red and Yellow laugh on their victory. Magenta changed place with Tan and this time she hit it back. It strongly knock back to Red and he dodged it in shock. They got their first point.

Also in excitement, Momo and Grizzly join the game too. This time Red and Yellow use saliva to make the ball shiny. Grizzly cannot hold himself and take the ball instead of knock it back. They lose and go away, Big Brown challenged Red and Yellow, Red asked if he need a teammate and he just laugh then start the game. While playing they realize that there a granny bee on his shoulder. The game continue but because of being old, Big Brown and granny bee start losing. Even Big brown try his best to knock back the ball, but Red just easily hit it back and right into his head. While everyone worry for Big Brown's injury, Red and Yellow are laughing on their victory. Everyone start angry about this and prepare for the revenge.

After the training, everyone return to beat Red and Yellow. But this time it isn't a 1v1 , 2v2 anymore, it a 2v5. The game start, everyone give ball to each other until Magenta knocked the ball. Yellow tried to knock it back but he failed, it was a very strong hit that even make a hole on the rock behind them. The ball also is broken and the score is 0-1. Magenta happily scream, Red and Yellow start to be more serious in the game. Red plan to make someone out and use tricky attack. It was succeed but when Yellow use his attack, Tan able to knock it back in their surprise.

The game continued on, until when it 10-9. Everyone realize that Big Brown started to seem tired and heavy breath. Seeing it Red attacked Big Brown, think that he cannot knock it back. They start laughing in mind but Big Brown knock it back and fall down. It now 10-10 and Big Brown is out of the match, because of his bad condition and he was also very tired.

Red and Yellow are happy because one enemy is out. Magenta hold Big Brown's ping with the spirit never give up. Her team able to make another point and it now 10-11. Yellow wanted to do another round, but they ran out of ping-pong balls and that meant they lost. Red angrily doesn't accept that and they use Rolly Polies as a ball.

The game continues, but then the Rolly Polie got stuck on the web. He got down and angrily fuse with his friends ( other Rolly Polies). Everyone got scared and Magenta's team ran away, Red and Yellow are shocked too and as they started to run. Rolly Polies knocked them out of the greenhouse to space and they became the ping-pong's champion.

one of the rolly polies got used as the ping-pong ball, before they fused, get revenge and uses yellow and red as ping-pong balls as they play ping-pong using the two.

Season 2[]

They were watching a Korean ping-pong championship match. This would been later reused in the episode Sushi.
The scene with them watching the ping-pong match on tv, was also the main introduce plot for larva heroes, a game made by Tuban. (before they got shoot and ends up in the sewer again)
the tornado is a foreshadowing for Spinner.
Rainbow can just came out of his shell and win easily against red, but maybe he sees it as never fair.
"Sad But True", usually associated with Rainbow, is slightly higher pitched than it usually plays in.
- This is also occurred on Lemon.

This is a call back to this season 2 episode.
Yellow and red was big ego once again, causing them to behave like that, the other clear example is in smartphone, also their habit at times neglecting magenta if they're busy with themselves. Showing that both of them actually not ready yet to be a parent and still childish at times.
the way that the rolly polies fused into one is a big reference to the ants colony who do the same too in Ant. (back in season 1)
the training montage is another callback to episode glove in season 3, along how grizzly and momo was using the same knitted shirt as a team.
