On a hot day of summer, a seed lands in the sewers and it becomes a popcorn because of the heat. Meanwhile, Red and Yellow are dying of heat in a sardine box filled with water and Yellow smells the popcorn, causing both to realise of the popcorn and they chase for it, but they get burnt when they come out of the shadow, sad, so they get wet, but the popcorn smell is triggered to Yellow, comes to get the popcorn, but he rapidly gets burnt and dry, so Red comes to save him by putting water on his face, but he also burns. Yellow thinks Red came to save him, but he only takes the popcorn away from Yellow. Yellow, unhappy with Red's decision, he bites Red's butt to avoid him escaping as both keep getting drier from the sun. Just in time, Violet comes and grabs both with his tongue, but he throws them to the sun again after seeing them and eats the popcorn successfully, while Red and Yellow got burnt again.
Epilogue[]
As the now already dried out Yellow and Red got burnt by the heat, one kernel of popcorn falls and turns into popcorn. And they tried to grab it, eventually, many popcorn seed kernels falls on them and popped into lots of popcorn, causing them to get burnt even more.
When Violet picks up two larvae, a Grey thing appears.

This marks the first shot of Yellow having that weird crazy yellow eyes, that later on shows up again in the episode Christmas and on season 2.
